Ok, Well, yesterday was busier than I was hoping. No sports for
the first weekend in a long time. Garrett did have a merit badge clinic, which
reminds me that Nolan is ready to do an Eagle project. He needs to get
working on that. Of course, all of the boys had plans with friends, so
did not have much time to spend with mom. I love that they have so many
wonderful friends in their lives. They get around the neighborhood on
their bikes and skateboards and rarely need rides anymore. They
constantly go back and forth between our house and their friends' homes.
Nick sprained his ankle Friday night, so he was hopping around the house.
He so was unable to do much, but we did all watch some NCAA. I am
now last place in our bracket. I was in first until the Elite 8.
Not sure how I can go from first to last so quickly. Today we will
have a REAL day with just our family. Starting the day with strawberry
waffles and bacon. It's a beautifully warm spring day already. Love
the peace of this day already! The one thing I've learned over the last
few years of juggling so much is how important my family is to me. I used
to be so overwhelmed with day to day things, now I just enjoy them :)
