I am so proud of Nolan! He was asked to speak in Sacrament meeting at church. This was his greatest fear. He initially said yes when asked by one of his leaders, but as the week went on, the anxiety built up. He prepared for his talk, and went through some difficult moments. There were times when he wanted to give up and say no. He persevered and did something really hard! What a great example he is to me! I adore him and have watched him grow and develop into a fine young man over the past several years. He learned great lessons by standing in front of 500 people and speaking to them about the gift of the Priesthood. His voice sounded beautiful in the microphone and everyone commented on how wonderful he did. He learned that through doubt, struggle, and fear, he can do great things and SUCCEED! I love you Nolan!
